Recording and sound engineering
Distance Music Production offers professional sound engineering services to elevate your audio projects. Our sound engineers are skilled in advising on how to create the sound you are looking for, ensuring your music achieves the highest standard possible. We use high-quality equipment and software – our DAW is Ableton Live 12 – to capture every detail of your sound. The result is a polished final product that truly resonates with your audience. Whether you're a solo artist or a band, we’re here to help you bring your musical vision to life.
Mixing
Mixing is the process of combining and balancing individual recorded audio tracks, such as vocals, drums and guitars, into a single, cohesive stereo track. We create a balanced and professional final sound that translates well across different playback systems, such as headphones, car speakers and more. Some studios’ mixing services apply blanket pre-sets when mixing tracks, which reduces the individuality of the piece. At Distance Music Production we work closely with each artist to understand and deliver their full creative intention.
Mastering
Our track mastering service ensures your work is polished and ready for release. With expert attention to detail, we enhance the clarity, balance, and overall sound quality of your tracks. We work closely with you to achieve the ideal final product, making sure your music stands out from the crowd. We also offer a combined mixing and mastering service.
